I have just found this great site - check it out! One of the organisations you can support is Permaculture International.

    http://permaworld.org/members/lblanch/index.shtml

Permaworld is an organization of Associate Members and Customers in over 145 countries worldwide who support a belief in a sustainable future based on co-operating with nature and caring for the earth and its people. Permaworld's mission is to help provide funds for Earth Care organizations AND at the same time, help develop a long term income for associate members assisting in providing money to these organizations by their sale of our innovative products.

I looked at it, and it looks like a pyramid scheme. I am not sure, so don't want to make a definitive statement, but it seems you make money by signing other people on, who, in turn, make money by signing more people on. This is a classic pyramid scheme, with a twist: A percentage goes to one of a list of reputable organizations.

I found them while looking for web hosting for our project. I went with another hosting service, but got email for months afterwards telling me that I was about to make lots of money if I would sign on as a member of a 2x2 matrix, etc.. I never pursued it, and, truth be known, because of the worthy organizations that benefit, I tried not to think about whether or not it was a scam.

    this from their site:

    >>>Join Permaworld and upgrade to an Associate Member with one of our hosting/software packages. You'll not only earn ALL commissions from the Affiliate Commission Plan but you'll also earn commissions from a 5 level fixed width (forced matrix) commission plan. You can benefit from 'spillover' commissions and develop solid long term residual earnings.

Affiliate Commission Plan - CLICK HERE

Commission plan that is easy to understand
    Commissions paid weekly
Fair and balanced and geared to reward all levels of participation
Strong front-end for new or part time
NO cap on your income earning potential. Solid long-term income

Permaworld donates up to 50% of the revenue from product sales to support earth care projects and environmental organizations<<<

If it is a reliable business, then what are they selling? In the absence of a quantifiable service or product, I would have to say it smells like a scam. Very nice graphics, tho..... But of course, a scam (if this is a scam) would be made well and look attractive.

If anyone who has posted here can explain how income is generated, then I would be interested to hear more. I don't want to slam something that might be a good thing, but the language above that I copied from their site is pretty vague, and terms like " you'll also earn commissions from a 5 level fixed width (forced matrix) commission plan" and "You can benefit from 'spillover' commissions and develop solid long term residual earnings" set a small little alarm off.

Anyone with further information should post. In the absence of further information, I wouldn't touch it. Perhaps I'm overly suspicious.

I just looked at the webste and saw more about the hosting, which looks like a legitimate service, and competetive with other web hosting/domain services. Not sure about the rest of it, though.

If we hadn't ended up with a good service for our projects email account, I would definitely consider this, though the other "5 level bandwidth matrix earning.. etc" is very vague.

I would love to hear more from anyone with actual experience with this.

Has anyone figured this out yet I understand multi leval marketing its great but not for a permie person in most cases What is being sold, the apple bars or the computer web hostings stuff wich i dont understand. Bill Mollison advocates money making in a non consumer way this sounds good, that i can figure!!!

    Hi Tezza,

I thought it was a hack job mate! Where is the reply from Geoff or Nadia, and who is lianne blanch that signed off on the post? I maybe a bit sceptical, but I've had a fair few people trying to rip me off of late.....the plumber  , the mechanic  , the guy who read my palm last Sunday..(I did catch him on that one though, and have a pretty good story to tell! So crafty!) .....

I'm impressed that so many did look at the post! I've visited other forums, and they've been pretty dull (and not very busy..ie last post 2 months ago!) ......perhaps a compliment that we did get hacked for marketing measures,

....but so many are interested, doesn't that mean that beginning one's own venture might have merit? ... to outlandish perhaps  like most others, buggered if I have time :?

See ya Tezza, have enjoyed reading you're posts
