    Default strawbales for sale cheap

    hi everyone

i am building a class room with a bunch of kids in west heidelburg victoria australia out of strawbales

the bales were donated and trent gardiner from http://www.straw.com.au gave us a bunch of extra bales for us to sell as a fundraiser for other materials we need

i have about 150 dry clean bales left

they make great mulch for the garden, bedding for chickens and animals

you could use them for a medium sized extension to your house !!

    call 03 9484 8369 or marcusjv@optusnet.com.au for more details

the bales are $5 each which is a lot cheaper than a nursery

you may be able to find building bales cheaper but make sure you include the transports costs from farm to melbourne these costs can often be up to $4AUD A BALE i know cause i got the transport donated by linfox cause i couldnt afford it

i am willing to negotiatre if you wanted to buy a large number !!

I want some but you're too far away. I'm in Qld.

How did your straw bale building go by the way? I'm thinking of making a straw bale cottage on our block. I think it'll be more comfy than a tin shed.

    Default Straw bales near Melbourne

    Marcus,

That was a good post on straw bales for sale.
I am not ready to buy but I need to find a supplier?

Do you know where to buy straw bales to build a house with?
And if they need storing in a shed?
And if they are best delivered at time of buidling so they do not get wet?
And how to cover them once they become house walls?
