[center:jvshf9d7]Interesting (long) radio discussion on the new standards for organic produce in Australia.[/center:jvshf9d7]
Organic food

Australia's organic food industry is worth $600 million a year and it is growing.
Yet, until very recently, there has been no national control of organic labelling.
For the first time a national standard for organic and biodynamic products outlines requirements to be met by growers and manufacturers.
But the standard is not mandatory and the organic industry is divided over its effectiveness.
So, will the new standard protect consumers against misleading claims?
