Default Ampair picohydro underwater generator, AKA Jackrabbit?

Anyone here have first hand experience with these novel little units? There's plenty of mention and advertising on the Net but I have only found two instances where people had tried them. There was no mention of performance in one case and in the other case, it was stated the thing didn't work at all.

Here's a link for those who have never heard of them: http://www.boost-energy.com/ampair/prod ... oduct5.asp

They were designed to be installed on barges to charge the batteries. They are not appropriate for an instream use (my opinion).

They have an A,pair Aqua wind turbine, which can be dismantled, blades taken off, and hooked up to a tow line that has a spinner on the end, and dragged behind sail boats. This supposedly works...

I have an old Ampair 100, but it's missing pieces, so I bought a 400 watt AirX turbine instead, which produces some power in heavy winds....
