Contacting PRI?

I live in the U.S. and recently enrolled in the July 1st Permaculture Design course at the PRI. I have paid my tuiton in full and already booked my round trip flight and hotel.
I typically don't worry about things, but I now am getting very worried because I cannot get anyone from the PRI to return any of my emails or phone calls.
I have sent multiple emails to various people listed on the contact page of the website and have called the number listed numerous times. Does anyone know the best way to contact the person who is resonsible for booking students? Does anyone know of an alternate number that I can call? Any assistance that anyone can provide will be very appreciated.

Don't be too worried there WNW3. They are probably out of cellphone range in some 3rd world conflict zone putting in a few swales.
Geoff never returns my emails, though that could be personal!
I'd say, if they cashed your check or took your credit, well, just show up on the day and demand satisfaction!
Seriously, I'm sure you'll hear from them in good time. :wink:

Thanks for the reply, but all is well now. The good folks at PRI returned one of my emails. Now I am sure that I don't have to walk from Lismore once I get off the train.

I wish that I did have some extra time, but unfortunately my schedule will only allow for a 2 week excursion (this time). But I do appreciate your hospitality.

I am one of 6 directors of MMRF, and MMRF is located on land that I co-own with my wife, Dawn, who is the chairman of the project.

Very cool....how much land do you guys operate on?

I live in Folsom, Louisiana which is about 60 miles from New Orleans. I have about 3 acres and a pond that I own....and it is ripe for some Perm Design too....esp. since Katrina relieved me of 90% of my trees.

Hi Will,

We have 70 acres of land, one kilometer of river front, about 12 acres under activemanagement, and the balance managed for limited timber extraction. We cultivate over 300 species of plants, and have a collection of ethnobotanicals with close to 500 species. Our web site species list needs some major updating...

Sorry to hear of your Katrina woes. What a tragic thing. New Orleans is/was a great city, beautiful, vibrant, alive. So many people displaced.

I empathize. We got hit with Hurricane Iris in 2001, lost about half of 13 years of agroforestry work... but milled a lot of timber up and built our house with it.
