I understand the advantage of nitrogen in the soil, but I am looking for a list of plants that are tolerant of soils with low levels of fixed nitrogen. Anyone have a cheat sheet handy? Would that mainly be root crops?

Many Elaeagnus species harbor nitrogen fixing organisms in their roots, and are therefore able to grow well in low-nitrogen soil
