Come learn the basics of earth building skills in this fun and holistic weekend workshop.

We will be building an earthen cool store or "larder" on the south side of a house as a store for produce, seed saving, fermented goods etc. The larder will be built over a weekend and you will get a chance to make mud bricks, put in a door, the roof and the final render.

Running on the weekend of June 2nd and 3rd, in Bobin, in the beautiful Manning Valley, NSW (Mid North Coast). We can pick you up from the train station in Wingham. You can catch the countrylink train from Sydney or Brisbane.

There will be camping and some rooms (including a separate dwelling with own kitchen and bathroom) available at the site - on a beautiful property practising a level of permaculture inspired sustainability, with beef cattle, a milking cow, chickens for egg and meat, fruit trees, vegetable gardens etc.

We will be showing documentaries and are planning a Transition Town Talk on the evening of Saturday.

The weekend workshop will be $100/$70 with an option of food for and extra $50 for the weekend (includes, lunch, dinner, snacks and teas for both days).
