anyone know of any goop to a make a very tired old diesal engine last longer

my ford 5000 tractor uses water ( boils over) and leaks oil
any tips?
im hoping to trade up to a model with a loader
if anyone is a good mechanic it
may suit them
going to a sale 14 jan and there are several windmills advertized they are great things when they work

If it is using water the head gasket could be shot, any oil in the water? there is a product called "chemiweld" for this sort of thing, as for the oil leaks try bars leaks its temp solution but as long as it is not a gasket or seal completely shot with big gaping holes in them it should do the trick.

sounds like a blown head gasket causing the boiling over, compression from a cylinder could be entering the cooling system and forcing water out. Tighten head bolts may help it. Same with oil leaks, tighten all the bolts and oil lines you can. There is No Goop that will fix a diesel !
