    Question Fennel Pollen

Has anyone ever heard of fennel pollen being used in cooking?
    Any recipes?
    What does it taste like?
I always thought ordinary Fennel fairy useless apart from the seed and just saw that Herbies is now selling fennel Pollen as a culinary spice. i have never heard of it before.

It was really trendy in flash restaurants (probably not anymore though; food fashion is pretty ephemeral...)
Generally sprinkled over finished dishes, rather than actually cooked.
Think expensive 'rustic' Italian like "goat's cheese ravioli with grilled fennel bulb, confit beetroot and fennel pollen".
I think fennel pollen's yummy: anise overlaid with floral.
