Oh Dear MA. Geography obviously isn't your strength. Noosa is in QLD. Didn't we win that football game recently?

The next Permaculture Noosa meeting will be held on Thursday, 17th November at the Memorial Hall, Maple Street, Cooroy (next to the RSL). Doors open at 7pm, the meeting is free and open to the public.

The guest speakers this month include Tom Kendall who has a permaculture property at Kin Kin. Tom not only grows an abundance of food (including vegetables, meat and dairy) on his chemical free property, but he also teaches others about permaculture. Come along and hear Tom talk about what is happening in his garden and on his property at the moment.

Our special guest is Anne Wensley, who has been living a permaculture lifestyle in Caloundra since the mid-1980’s. Anne believes permaculture has seeped into every facet of her life and she will be talking about the things she has experienced and the many things she has learnt during that time. Anne will talk about community activism, neighbourhood support groups, cashless trading, banking, having no waste, using and educating local councillors and MP’s, being a mentor or wise elder, public disobedience, links with local media, ‘glocalisation’, being a village healer/counsellor, and providing home schooling advice.

Come along to hear from these two very active and knowledgeable permaculture practitioners.

We start the evening at 7pm with a MARKET PLACE, where members will be selling their home grown produce, goods they have made themselves,http://www.mysunshinecoast.com.au/ar...-meeting,23628
