Hi, we have 10 acres in Castlemaine Vic, we will be selling in the next few months but would prefer someone with Permaculture principles in mind when building/developing the land. No services (like our place) so you would have to do something like what we are doing - passive solar, header tank for gravity feed, straw bale, council approved dry compost toilet, dams (the possibility exists to link them with back-flooding swales across property boundaries etc. - we are open to such things).
Local Real estate agents and bank evaluation have put the property at $170,000 as it is so close to shops, schools, train etc. That is what we will settle for if we go through regular channels. We would sell privately to a permie for $15,000 below that figure as that represents a more ideal situation over the long term than simply having the extra cash.
