I am near Ballarat and am looking for anyone that is really good at FC Rain Tank repairs. The main house tank is only 18 years or so and does not look to be a very good job as it leaks water out the sides, some are orange stained (rust is my belief) and lichens growing and loving breaking it down into eventual soil.

I've had a few suggestions from drain and leave water for humidity, then seal inside with epoxy or some sort of substance (health?) all the way to drain the tank until completely dry, put a plastic layer on and then build a new FC tank inside the old tank with the plastic as a water barrier (sounds very costly).

I could always consider just getting a big metal tank with poly liner but the thought of all that plastic on the main drinking water isn't as appealing.

So if anyone knows any good FC people rural near'ish to Ballarat that I can talk to, that would be brilliant!
