What light structure would you like to provide protection from the UV, heat and protection from the cold and biting insects?

What would your passive solar shell look like that you move around in your garden?

How would it change the shape and layout of your garden so it in effect becomes part of a massive solar/seasonal sun dial/veg tunnel ! It would serve many purposes from weeding to office work! Did you want it on wheels and or rails?

Agreed, all it has accomplished this morning is annoying the )(*& out of me. I am on dialup in a rural area, and it takes time to download a forum page, and when it is a 'blank' post redirecting me once again, I can't help but feel like my time has been incredibly wasted, and I won't get it back.

After thought. The human chicken tractor concept is not just about scratching and picking at the garden beneath, there is a psychological aspect as well !
Chickens are almost always happy in the garden free rangeing! There is nothing to stop us "scratching for ideas" while in our gardens, planning, looking for pests, observing, learning and interacting.

There is a "peck order" and rat race that it would be nice to get away from some time! The challenge is how to do it with minimial resources and impact.
