    Default The problem with quotes

I've only just realised what it is about quotes that makes me not want to read them.

They are in ITALICS. Italics is not as easy to read as straight text and should only be used for emphasis for a couple of lines maximum.

So can that that be changed please. I figure since the text is alraedy in a quote bubble, you don't need to call more attention to its quote status by changing the format of the text.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately the way that quotes are displayed is set by the software so we Mods can't alter it. Sorry sunburn.

No my ideas are terrible. I can't even see the tv properly.

But its not about our eyes. I can read the italics, they are just unpleasant to read.

I am not sure the problem is so great - there are plenty of things worse in the world
