Default Can we establish a seed exchange?

We're all looking for ways to cut our costs and it makes sense to me to start a seed exchange. We could also include cuttings if there are no state border problems.

    Is anyone else interested?

How do you think we should do it? Start a thread with seeds or cuttings we have or are interested in? Maybe when Murray changes the forum, we might have an thread called "seed exchange". Tell me your thoughts.

I think this is a good idea too I currently swap with and give to friends and neighbours - natives and edibles

A seperate thread for offerings and desired seeds/cuttings/plants may be nice with details exchanged via private message perhaps?

    Cheers,
    Fran.

Sounds good to me, Fran. I've said something similar in the improve the fiorum thread. Hopefully Murray will agree.

I've stayed away from that thread about updating the look and feel of the forum - I like it the way it is over those that have lots of different headings where you have to travel back and forth to get all the new messages...although I do see sense in having some headings to organise some of the forum as I get a little lost after being away from my computer for more than two or more days.... I do like what Dan has done on his site http://sublife.worldpartypro.com where all the new masseges are grouped together so you can see them stright away...but this is not the purpose of this thread - seed exchange is, so I'll quite waffling

Ok, I'll have to check what I have outside but off the top of my head I know I have seeds for grosse lisse tomato (organic), sweet basil (organic) flannel flower (actinotus helianthi) and a few cuttings for vanilla orchids.
