Hey again Fernando ! Just checking ... i am in the search for a cutting of the Camillia Sinensis ( tea leaf plant ) ! If i buy seed... which are hard enough to find or a seedling i still have to wait 3 years to harvest ... where as a cutting i assume, would be ready to go after a good growing season. Hope all is well and if you have not send the Citronella then would you please add this ? how much is postage ? take care Andy
Im not following you?
Yes, I hear you have a new visitor coming! My wife and her friends have just returned from overseas and they assure me that you have made a clever decision with using a canopy as they have seen it in their travels.I am out of here for a while as I have a number of pressing things to attend too. Best wishes Fernando.
Justin case you are wondering - I am still on the case. The cassava is gong great but then this weather is what it likes and winter will be the test I think. I have planted some beneath some Paypau for extra protection but it will be for leaf only I guess
Thanks for the Casava Fernando. I have placed it in 8 inch pots to strike. I think they will need some special care. We did a talk on PP and TT at the rainbow meditation lodge the other week and the group was full of survivalists. One told me that casava and artichokes are going to be important as mad max will not be able to recognise it as food and after they have killed to cows and chickens we will still have some nourishment. They may have a point I have been reading the PRI pages and was surprised when you did not go to collect the award - congrats by the way it is great to see good work being done and lovely when it is from time to time recognised. Lets hope it helps to spread the message of hope for the planet. Thanks too for the WWOOFER - we had decided the two girls that leave tomorrow would be our last for the year but what the heck. I hope he works well in the heat cause I am dreaming up some amazing things to share with him when he arrives.
Kate and I did a PDC teacher training course with Geoff Lawton last week and I took the oportunity to ask if he knew who you might be. He kows Bernado or more his brother but would or could not tell me about you. We were discussing your response to Rhamis address on the main page and he actually highlighted it to the whole course so you impressed Geoff with your response. It is rare to get a "classic"permaculturist - Geoff is one, Bill invented it. and you are there to. I am on the trail and you may as well fess up now. Or at least tell me where you trained. regards Mark
It is good to see that you are again "out of jail" and on the board. The place lights up when you are around. I do look forward to seeing you around - especially with in Mandala Town though the permacrazies is a place for rough house and it needs some activist input especially when Kimbo is away. I hope to post input as the true identity of fernando pessoa is uncovered (unraveled) your help will of course be appreciated.
