This Property is in Costa Rica a democratically stable and peaceful nation which abolished its army over 100 years ago. Known globally for its outstanding natural beauty and picturesque beaches, Costa Rica is also one of the leading Eco-Tourism destinations in the world.

This fantastic property boasts stunning views across Rincon De La Vieja National Park with which it borders to the South and from nearby look outs you can see down over Cano Negro and Lake Nicaragua. There is 130m (400ft) of road frontage and approximately 4ha of flat agricultural land at the front of the property and a further 6 Ha of flat shrub forest that could be cleared. A beautiful river runs through the property which comes directly from the National Park and there are abundant sources of clean natural spring water to drink and swim in. With over 30ha (75 acres) of land there are acres of Primary and Secondary Rain forest with massive tropical trees and a huge range of wildlife, including all 3 species of monkeys, big cats, large mammals and much much more...

Me and my partner lived on this farm for several years unfortunately following several family tragedies we have had to return home and we are regrettably selling our farm. We also have a 1976 Toyota Landcruiser and many good homesteading tools including a chainsaw and carpentry tools that we can negotiate for in the sale of the land. For more infromation and photos see the website

Five acre blocks to lease in Queensland Australia

At Peachester, my wife and I own 28 acres of rural land. At the age of 61, and running a publishing firm (see www.pocketbooks.com.au) I do not really have the time to start a Permaculture Biodynamic farm. But our land is probably quite perfect. We have 1850 mm of rain each year - yes 73 inches, in sub tropical climate, at 155 m above sea level.
We would like to lease 5 acre sections (2 ha) on a share-farm basis, or preferably, a direct rent basis, at about $300 Aust per week. Long leases and options can be arranged.
We will look to see if we can supply a shed/office/garage (which might unofficially really double as a bungalow with a rest-sleep area) with gravity water tank and solar cell electricity.
One block is fairly clear and could be planted with vegetables and fruit trees fairly quickly.
The other four blocks have regrowth pine timber and other trees. Initially, some-one on each block with a chain saw could make quite a good living selling firewood, and then planting vegetables and fruit trees as sections of land are prepared. Some fencing is needed for keeping of stock.
Peachester in Queensland is about 85 km (50 miles) north of Brisbane, and about 45 miles from Brisbane airport. We are at 476 - 500 MacDonald's Rd. Google often says this is Bald Knob locality, although the area was changed to Peachester locality about five years ago.
