View Full Version : traveller going on a permaculture trip...
Hi!
I'll be leaving this freezing northern place (scandinavia) quite soon for hot and sunny SE asia...:)
Feeling more at home in HOT places...Going first to thailand and then malaysia and then... not sure: east ?(indonesia and australia) or west (india, sri lanka)? what do you think? I'm looking for some permaculture places on the way, maybe you have any suggestion or info ?.... I'm also plannnig to go a pdc somewhere on the way...

Sadhana forest in Auroville, India
Embun Pagi, Malaysia
Check out my blog for a wrap up of the courses at those places

I taught PDC's there, not sure what they are up to now, I recommend panya, but definitely if you find yourself in South India go to Sadhana Forest, great project
There is also some Europeans in the mountains in Malaysia that I cold dig up their contact for you.
Indonesia- IDEP
Have fun

Hi,
I took a PDC recently and we're planing to do the same thing with my wife soon. To get our hands dirty, minds cleared and experience loaded for a while. :) Quite exciting!
I've been doing only a web research at the moment so I don't know for sure but:
-Panya in Thailand seems to be a good place to be for a bit. There are PDCs in March, May, June.
-Check: http://www.tacomepai.com/th/ as well, looks nice.
-And this: http://www.phanganearthworks.com/ is, well, good for earthworks. There's a PDC in March too.
-WWOOF India could help: http://wwoof.zoomshare.com/0.html
Good luck!
Emre.
