I just found this on BBC and wondered if anyone has heard of the efficacy of this method:

Actually I remember reading about the nutritional qualities of hemp seed as a feed grain and it is one of the best. Perhaps he got his wires crossed a little. :)
It is worth saying again just how good hemp is as a crop of multiple uses. It is insane that we don't grown more of it.

I agree completely. I have a couple of shirts, and a pair of jeans made from hemp, and they feel real good against the skin. An absolutely amazing range of stuff was made from hemp before the US Guvmint decided it was "a bad thing"

i like all natural fibres

I had a pair of hemp pants that lasted for years, the fibres even held together without tears after the pants started to get a bit see-through :)
