It’s March and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is back for another year of foodie bliss. This year Stephanie Alexander is sharing her most passionate food project with Melbourne, throwing open the doors to five of her Kitchen Garden Schools.
WHEN: 9.00am-4.00pm, TOMORROW, Wednesday 17 March.
WHERE: Pick up/drop off from corner of Russell and Flinders Streets (Federation Square).
The tour will take in Elwood, Southmoor, East Bentleigh, Weeden and Whitehorse Primary Schools in Melbourne.
TICKETS: Available for purchase by telephone before close of business TODAY, 03 8415 1993.
Enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and of course, tastes of Melbourne’s most innovative kitchen gardens. The fun-packed day includes a sumptuous lunch prepared by East Bentleigh Primary School students. Stephanie will be on board to showcase the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program in full bloom.
Get in quick to share in a day of wood fired pizza ovens, teepee classrooms, water saving techniques, organic gardening tips and inspiration!
