This is a marvelous opportunity though I doubt I will make time for it. I was involved for sometime in a school project with the slow foods movement it looked at the whole deal including propagation, growing and harvesting right through to preparation of food and sales to other students. It was a great thing and this looks similar. Very worth supporting :D :D :D

Yes agreed PP, they have a web site where you can make donations or volunteer.

I just herd Stephanie Alexander on The Conversation Hour on ABC NSW local Radio.
it was a lovely interview with Richard Fidler
http://www.abc.net.au/nsw/conversations/
it will probably be posted to the ABC site for downloading tomorrow or the next day.

She has a new gardening/cookbook/-tome (she never writes small books!) out.
It sounds like a must for many a Permies. Christmas stocking.

I came across this mob and they seem to be a great place for support in schools programmes in gardening.
