flame guns for weeding

does anyone know where to get a flame gun from? I have 1.5 acres that is fully fenced with dog wire and is near impossible to whipper snip - especially as it is some grassy weed that just tangles up the machine. would prefer not to poison as I did one section and now have brown weeds clogging fenceline instead of green weeds! It would seem to be an environmentally friendly way to weed and would be a perfect solution to my problem....

any help would be greatly appreciated. Helen

Hi Helen,
Up here the cane farmers all use them,so I`m guessing you could maybe try a produce store of maybe Landmark???
Not totally sure, but if they don`t have them they may be albe to tell you where to get one from.

I saw one yesterday for sale at Crosby's in Nambour - Howard street. Didn't look at the price though as it wasn't on my shopping list....
