what's going on with permy people around Caloundra? Any regular meetings/get togethers?

I've got a small place in Dicky Beach where we grow more than 50 fruit trees and vines, run it on basic permy principles, have chooks, use very little water, eat our own fruit, feed thousands of insects (LOL) and generally enjoy life. There's three chooks fertilising the citrus icecream bean and lychee trees and what they can't get at we use their straw bedding to compost and or fertilise the rest.

Hope to hear from anyone doing similar.

There are groups at Chevallum, Noosa and Yandina and a sustainable Maleny group. There used to be a Caloundra Community Garden, but that shut down and I think there is a group at Caboolture.

Cheers,
