Good Morning Ppl,
New here, and am looking to Propergate from cuttings some Natives for myself and friends; that's if all goes well.
Things like Callistimons, Melaleucas, Leptospermums
You get the idea?
Drought resistant, Frost Hardy
Oh!! And Eugenias;
to me Lilly Pillys will always be Eugenias.

I'm out in Western QLD, past Toowoomba

Welcome Ivan,

Nice intro and good luck with propogating natives. I have had some luck but cannot say I have been consistent.

One of the great things with this forum is the 'search' button up top. I did a search on 'propagating natives' and got these replies. http://forums.permaculture.org.au/search.php?mode=results

So if you have any questions you can read through some of this stuff, start a new thread or just tag a question onto an existing link.

BTW are you new to permaculture?

Cheers

floot

G'day Floot,
Thanks,
I am a big advocate for the use of the 'Search' facility and used already :study:
On other Forums which I am on, we'll often have Ppl join and ask VERY Basic questions, straight up. No intro.
The answers to which are manyfold if only they had done a search.

Was up you way at Nobalco end of the last Millennium :faroah:

Left just after an "incident" never happened :error: :error: :error:
according to their WHS :tard:

Ivan,

You picked the reason I specifically thanked you for the intro.... :D

I wasnt in Gove for the 'incident' and we didnt hear about it in Katherine either... haha

Maybe that was what convinced NABALCO to sell out of the richest bauxite mine on earth. The entire thing is now owned by ALCAN who are currently spending $2billion on an upgrade, so its crazy times here.

Anyway, good to have you on board and hope lotsa rain falls your way. The wet season has kicked off here with probably about 150mm to date and as usual a lot more threatening..
