Greenpeace have an excellent film called Decentralised Energy - what are we waiting for? on their website. It discuses using energy more efficiently rather than investing in nuclear sources

We are all supposed to be terrified of terrorism, right? (Ok, we're not, but we are told to be.) If so, can terrorists knock out a huge power grid if every home or neighbourhood is producing it's own power? Or how about big storms like the 1995 storm in central and northern Ontario or the Quebec ice storm of 199-whatever?

There are more benefits to micropower than drawbacks.
