Wikipedia has categories (have a look at this http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?tit ... Categories (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Categories) and this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Permaculture).

Does the Wiki technical documentation say anything about them? It appears to be a fairly new thing on Wikipedia. It would be useful here for example: http://www.permapedia.com/index.php/Growth

A page in any namespace can be put in a category by adding a category tag to the page (by convention, at the end of the page), e.g.:

[[Category:Category name]]

i went and added [[Category:Plants]] to the bottom of the Growth page, and you can see it listed here: http://www.permapedia.com/index.php/Category:Plants

Excellent Murray. Now let's see if we can get people using them. The Miscellaneous page can go. (I'll do that now - you can resurrect it if you choose). Just use a misc category - if they belong.

Zones 0 thru 5 might also be categories as well as articles. I'd like to see the Growth page gone and replaced with a category. Any ideas on the name?

Holy shit Murray, you have been busy. I am just winding my way through your hierarchy of lists. I hope you don't mind, I am converting them to categories. That way they are auto updating.
