As an update to the thread one of the companies just won a multi-million dollar contract to salvage and recycle steel. This is just one of a string of contracts that this company has won recently. This particular contract is not a 'gimme', it is exacting in its requirements.
Whist the work involves steel salvage and handling what, for me, is the good bit is that now this crew have the techinical, OH & S, admin and logistic support in place to handle this size contract.
So one particular community has work coming out of its ears on a variety of fronts.
It is not all bad news in the bush!!
