Hi, we are urgently looking for a couple of kids (of the goat kind hehe!)not concerned about age, for our daughters 13th b'day (she's a heidi in the making. We are looking at breeding further on down the track. They will need to be close by for pick up, any help would be fantastic, thanks

Are you after Dairy or Meat goats ?

For meat goats, I know of a Boer Goat breeder in Oakey - Kurrajong Goat farm.

Have you checked out the Trading Post, there is a Minature Goat Breeder on the Gold Coast - (07) 55430294

There maybe someone in Dayboro or Caboolture so it may pay to contact the rural suppliers.

DONT BUY FROM BACKYARD BREEDERS AS YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU GET! LOOK IN THE TELEPHONE DIRECTORY FOR REGISTERED CLUBS, SOMETIMES THEY HAVE LITTLE WETHERS (DESEXED MALES) FOR VERY LITTLE EXPENSE. :)

I hope I didn't offend by suggesting meat or diary goats to Donna. Given that she wanted them for her 13 yo daughter, I didn't think she intended for them to be the main course at the party :-)
