Sustainable Culture Developments?

At present I'm trying to feed my local shire as much info as possible on sustainable culture developments, as my home town, Apollo Bay is undergoing a re-structuring and expansion... they're looking to include a Health & Wellbeing precinct... so I'm looking for some existing models out there that are successfully working, so the project will have a good basis and go ahead in the right direction.
I've already referred a few existing projects to them, but I would appreciate in hearing about any that you know about.
