Hi Murray
Using firefox web browser and a picky graphics person  (sorry to pick)
The middle menu sits out of the bottom. maybe scale the grey and yellow tables to the bottom
http://www.tagari.com/item.php?itemid=146
Bills head looks a little strange in the top menu, the spotty burn out of the effect on the top front area of his head does not look right to me, has it been drawn then rescaled or is it a photophoto effect on a photo?
The logo on the right of the header is washing out into the background, maybe using a clearer version might look better, or a larger version.
Apart from those little nick-picks it sits well and the colours, background etc all look good.

hey there,
thanks for the feedback.

yeup. not a biggie right now. we'll add more content to the pages that do that. easy fixed.
>Bills head looks a little strange in the top menu, the spotty burn

it's a simple black/white conversion with a slight grainy effect. was the best photo i could get of the guy looking nice and authoritative.

you're right. i'll have to try to adjust it.

cheers :)

Finding a good shot of Bill must have been a pain, I take it you took that from the back of the permaculture manual?
This is the only one I could find that I liked.

Keep up the good work :-)

Murray – what happened to the permaculture egg logo _ I see it, but it is not as dominant as it might be – also an explanation of the permaculture egg might be useful in FAQs – I like the meanings encapsulated in the egg log.
Other wise the site is very neat - it looks good.

May be just that I only got 4.5 hours sleep overnight, but I find it all but impossible to read the text.

More feedback :-)
Try using a sans-serif typeface in your main bodies of text, as all those little serif's can muddy the screen sometimes. Verdana or Arial are our most commonly used type faces due to ease of reading on screen in web design.

Hey Murray
Like bazman said, sans-serif would read a little easier.
And cool blog....I'll be back to check it out....
