Heard this recipe on the radio , made it straight away tryed first bottle after 4 weeks (couldnt resist) dont know alco content but tasted pretty good . Its a sparkling brew so needs bottles you can seal .
5 cups chopped rhubarb
5 cups sugar
5 litres of water
1 chopped whole lemon (yes skin as well )
mix together in covered container , strain into bottles after 2 or 3 days
thats it pretty simple i will be making heaps more its much like a lemon squash type drink but hopefully with a bit of kick in it .

No yeast added must be wild on the roo or lemon ? i was pretty sceptical but pleasantly surprised , i searched for recipies of course and they were all more complicated so thought nothing to lose . I kept it well covered from vinegar fly but i doubt they would turn up until the alco formed . It brews in the bottle it was just too easy .

Terra, do you mean crown seals/something that can blow off rather than explode glass?
I've only recently made my first wine and I really like the simplicity of that recipe!

Seals on the glass bottles will work , i just used the 2 litre screw top cola type as thats all i had , had to release the top in stages , PLENTY of gas so flicking off a crown seal could be interesting . I had a stash of brown longnecks but im thinking they went to the recycle depot hmmmmmm , plastic is awfull .
