Hello All,
Following recent negotiations David Holmgren, Kym Kingdon (PDC Mollison 90) and Darren Doherty (PDC Gravestein 93, Mollison 95) together with the Gravel Hills Garden's team will be delivering a broadacre, drylands course in the north western Victorian mallee town of Murrayville in April 2004 (rainfall avg. 300mm/yr). This course will tackle issues of broadacre permaculture with one of its leading exponents in Kym Kingdon and prominant permaculture designer/educators in David Holmgren and Darren Doherty. Kym and associate Anthony "Hubey" Sheldon have substantial broadacre mixed holdings (total of around 3000 acres crop/sheep/alley farming). The regional community boasts many example of low rainfall garden agriculture displaying what annual drought can produce! Date's are yet to be fixed however an announcement will soon be made thru this and other forums.
Thanks,
Darren Doherty
