Looking for Quail advice...

I have a flock that is feral on my property, and I am looking to encourage them since they love to devastate the local bad insect population. Any one have any advice?

Leave them alone?

Google what their favourite food sources are and encourage those.
Find out what their predators are and discourage those.
Find out what they consider to be safe hideyholes and provide those.

I agree, stay out of their way, but I'd try making more areas on your property look like their prefered nesting areas.
