Hi Guys

The forum is getting an error in both IE and firefox, if you google 'yimneiatebe.cx.cc' or 'HHTTP' you will see other forums that have had the same issue. This is a server side issue. It's not client side.

Found this if it helps.

This forum got it and fixed it.

Good luck :)

Thanks Baz. I'll let Craig know and see if he can sort it out.

PS Didn't realize you were a biker boy!

Hi Bazman and thanks for the alert.

I'm not sure what you're seeing? Do you get the "Forum Hijack Error" on your browser when you visit the forum? If so, any time you visit or only when you log in? I am using Safari (on a Mac) and haven't seen the error (yet).

Thanks for any clarification you can provide.
Bill

I'm using Firefox and I get a firefox does not know what 'HHTTP' is and I can get to the next page. I tested it on IE8 and it got highjacked to a site under the yimneiatebe.cx.cc domain. If your IE is not up to date or secure don't try it.

OK, thanks. Apparently Safari is immune (so far).

Hey Gandalf! We are both busy not doing real work at the same time. I also am using Safari on a Mac (must be a Mod thing..) and have no error. I did get funny messages last night when trying to access the site from my iPhone though. I must go see if it works on Firefox on my sons 'puter. Back in a few mins.....

Damn! He's changed his log in password. What could a teenage boy possibly have on a computer that he doesn't want his mother to see?

I'm going to have to run a full virus scan as I'm worried that when I checked it on IE might have given the hack some access to my PC. FYI I also sent a message to Murray as I'm pretty sure he set up the site way back.

People seem to like hacking us when I'm travelling.

This is fixed. There's a chance they've sneaked some other exploit in, so please let me know asap (by email) if you spot anything strange.

Thanks for letting me know guys.

Hi there

I haven't been able to get on to the forum since about Tuesday. Just kept getting that error. I thought my computer was infected. On a friends computer at the moment but will try the suggestion when I get home.
