Hi All

I'm on the look out for a truck load (or two) of organic sugar cane mulch, I'm north of Brisbane so a grower in the sunshine coast or even better the Carboolture area. A farmer buyer transaction would be good if possible.

Anyone know of any growers?

I have started to grow my own but this will take a few years before I can start using it here.

I'm also on the look out for rare types of sugar cane, rainbow sugarcane is one I have heard of, I have a red and a black that I got from Jade Woodhouse on the sunshine coast, I would like to get some more so I can boost the amount i'm growing and the different rare breeds that are hidden in peoples backyards.

Any ideas where to look?

bazman, I know someone grows it here because I've bought it in plastic wrapped bales at the servo. I have no idea who it is though.

Just a suggestion. Why not try phoning the sugar mill at Nambour (07) 5479 8400, they might know someone.

If you have the room/time....grow your own :)
