Why has the WPN thread been closed?

A simple explanation at the end of the thread would have been helpful. If there is something that isn't ok, wouldn't it be better to let us know?

Not sure pebble... it wasn't me.

I won't unlock it in case there was a reason...

Might be a bug in the forum, its not the first lock down since the upgrade.

I got PM'd by 9anda1f about a tech issue today, which I've just taken care of. In coming in to check I'd fixed it, I also noticed the locked WPN thread. I don't know why it's locked. I'll put a note into the mods forum recommending that whenever a thread is locked that whoever does it puts a reason in as the last post to the thread before it's closed. If this recommendation is followed, and we find a thread locked without explanation, then we can assume it's a bug and just unlock it.

I can't see how it can happen by itself though. But, the internet can be an inexplicable place sometimes.

P.S. I've asked the mods to let me know if one of them locked the WPN thread. If nobody responds in the affirmative, then I'll unlock it.
