Hi, I'm Clayton. It has been my dream way before I found permaculture to reforest the earth. I'm so glad to see that others have my same views. I love the fact that Bill Mollison has already started a revolution towards this. It makes things a bit more easy for me, because he's already went through allot of mistakes that I wont have to now thanks to him, lol. I haven't met the man yet but would love to. It is my dream to see permaculture spread to every corner of the globe in my lifetime. I have 18 acres I bought to start with, but I have to wait three more years. Thats when I get out of the Navy. I cant wait. Anyway, I also cant wait to start meeting like minded people.

So Italy is where your land is? Now is a good time to be learning what you need to know and observing your land when you get leave so you can be really to get started as soon as you "graduate" from the Navy.

No, its in Ohio, it will be a year and a half probably before I get to visit it again, and then another year and a half until I get out and finally start working on it. I cant wait, but until then I'll be letting nature take its course. The previous owner had built a pond and did some dozer work, it will be fun to see how much nature takes over in three years. I know that on the two acres I grew up on and also own that it sure did. Just a few years and it was covered in ferns, pine trees, thorn bushes, and all kinds of plants. I want my land to be an example of how permaculture really does work, and how we can feed the world with it. I also want to design homes that can be built with the materials found right in your surroundings for a very low cost without loosing the benefits of a more expensive home. It is my belief that we need to provide people a way of living which requires very little money, if any. So that they can free themselves from undesired work and spend more time learning and doing what they want as well as spend more time with friends and family. One day, quite possibly in my lifetime I think that all of humanity will live in peace and share the resources of the world and that no one will do without.

Anyway, thank you for welcoming me to this forum. I plan to be a frequent visitor.
